NDT Services Group utilises ultrasonic thickness testing to determine the rate of corrosion and erosion, or detecting discontinuities below the surface of a variety of materials. Similar to the Sonar principle, a sound bean is tranmitted into a material to determine thickness or soundness, and reflects back to the sending unit.
